Seven: This album of multi-textured lovelyness with a hint of alienation and melancholy makes me feel like listening to Tortoise's 'TNT' album for the very first time. Confusing, epic, overwhelming.
rnk: Sheez, this is some heavy texture. The Bell bros like the slow-building drone-y walls of post-sounding bliss, the limbic folk seizures produced by vintage tape collecting, and that certain super-8 "look" in sound. It's like you've been abused by some fairytale monster and then fall in love with it.
